Layup 2 is meant to build experience with joining foam and glass to make a strong, light weight structure. As I ordered all the materials for several chapters at once maybe the biggest thing I learned was how to tell urethane from PVC from polyesterurethane. Hatchet man! Found this big cleaver worked well on precision long cuts in urethane foam.

Urethane foam carving finished. That was easy. Hardest part was not over working it.

It worked! It is super strong, the structure has passed the test.
